Students will sometimes say that their work was turned in on time and that they clicked the “Submit” button and are sure that they did, however, when you go to the gradebook, you don’t see their submission.  Since we know that students always tell the truth, what else could it be?  In this case, the truth is that students do not submit the work until they see a notice from Canvas stating that it has been submitted.  If this notice is not received, then the work is not submitted.
