We are pleased to announce that the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Engagement (CTLE) is seeking to fill two positions:
- an eCourses Faculty Lead starting Fall 2021, and
- a co-Faculty Developer starting Fall 2021.
If you are a residential faculty member and are interested in serving in either of these roles, please send Chris Nielson via email (attachment preferred) the following items by Friday, February 26th:
- Short bio including department, position/role(s), and educational background.
- Letter of intent
- eCourses Faculty Lead outline:
- how your knowledge and abilities align with this position;
- your vision of the eCourses Faculty Lead at GCC and the role it will play in fostering eCourse student success at Glendale.
- co-Faculty Developer outline:
- how your knowledge and abilities align with this position; your vision of the Faculty Developer role in the CTLE and the role it will play in fostering student success at Glendale;
- your ideas for how you believe you can further advance teaching, learning, and engagement at GCC; and
- areas of teaching and learning you are passionate about or have an interest in.
- eCourses Faculty Lead outline:
A committee composed of members of the GCC Faculty Development team (CTLE, Faculty Developer, CTLE Advisory Committee) and other key individuals from across the college will review the submissions. We will contact individuals for interviews by March 5th with the intent to conduct interviews during the week of March 8th (exact dates to be determined).
