Thinking of reserving the Robinson Room and using Chromebooks with your students? Do it!  But be prepared for the experience.

One thing people frequently forget until class time is actually learning about the Chromebooks. For the most part, they’re dead simple to use. But they’re even better if you know what some of the special keys do, what keyboard commands are available, and how to use the touchpad.

You can bookmark this Chromebook Keyboard + Touchpad Cheat Sheet for yourself, or even share it with your students in advance of your date in the Robinson Room. To use it, hover over the different keys, or the touchpad. A pop-up will show you the commands and actions associated with each item.

Now, you’ll be ready when the inevitable “uhh, how do I…” questions come up during class.
