It’s finally October in the Valley, and the promise of cooler weather is in the air. This is the perfect time for a little gardening. At home, it’s time to plant your herbs and lettuces, and here at GCC, it’s time to tend the garden of accessibility in our Canvas courses!

Over the next two months, the CTLE invites you to join us in tidying our garden beds, pulling some weeds, and learning some new accessibility skills. (Check out the list of upcoming accessibility workshops.)
And if, at the end of the week, you’ve got questions or just want to talk accessibility with fellow accessibility gardeners, we hope you’ll pop into our Virtual Accessibility Support Hours hosted on Fridays from 1:00-2:00 PM via Google Meet!
Virtual Accessibility Support Hour Dates for Fall 2026:
- October 9, 16, 23, and 30
- November 6 and 20 (Currently, no support hours Nov 13 or 27)
- December 4 and 11
Let’s get our hands dirty, Gauchos!
