Write 6×6 is now in its third week, and we are cruising along with that superhighway wind in our metaphorical hair! Twenty members of our GCC faculty, staff, and administration have signed on for the challenge, and the stories shared and ideas exchanged thus far have been truly outstanding.
Come check out Tiffany Hernandez’s post about the Community College as a Library and Lore Konpka’s recipe for joy in her work. Pop in to be inspired by Jessica Parsons’ post, “I am not a Teacher, I am a Storyteller,” and Nuria Sanchez’s post, “You Are Beautiful,” where she explores how a few little words can have a powerful impact on students. Looking for ways to integrate some critical thinking about AI into your courses? Christine Jones has got you covered!
This week, our brave ‘Sixers have been challenged to explore the possibilities of Universal Design on our campus. I am looking forward to seeing our campus through a new lens and picking up a few new ideas for my classes.
Blogging under (mild) pressure may not be your thing, but I hope you still might set aside a moment this week to swing by Write6x6.com. You can check out the conversation and leave some supportive comments for our colleagues. These posts might just offer the mid-week pick-me-up you’re craving right now!
