I am forgetful. If I do not write down reminders on a sticky note, enter items into my calendar, or keep a tab up on my computer, then whatever it was that I was working on is just plain gone. Which is why my browser ended up like this:

I need ALL of these tabs!! (At least I think I do…ha, ha!)

Enter in a game changing way to hide all of my chaos: Google Tabs.

My browser went from the cluttered mess you see above to this:

Now, all of my tabs for each course can be “hidden” behind a singular tab heading instead splayed out for the whole world to judge.

For a more detailed breakdown on how to complete this task here are the directions.

Another feature of Google tab groups is that even if you accidentally close a group—or intentionally close it to tidy up your browser—Google will save all the sites within that tab group for easy access later.

To recover your tab group, simply open an new tab and in the upper left side of your screen you will see the tab groups you have created:

Click on the small grid icon and then click on the group you would like to add back to your browser.

Happy organizing!
