Get ready to pull anchor, set sail and attend the GCC CTLE Fall Conference.

A special cruise has been designed to offer educators a unique and inspiring experience centered on the power of positivity.  Anchors Away emphasizes the journey of teaching with positivity as a compass to navigating challenges and achieving success.

🚢 The first excursion takes place Monday, October 14th, in the GCC Student Union and features keynote speaker Zeena Hicks, author of  “28 Days of Positivity.”  This two-hour interactive session will focus on a positive mindset and introduce data-driven techniques for rewiring your brain, overcoming inner negativity, and actively creating a more thriving life for teachers and their students.

⚓The second excursion occurs Friday, October 18th, and we will set sail for a three-hour virtual experience in Zoom.  Presenters from around the Valley of the Sun are determined to inspire educators on best practices for student engagement, facilitating positive and supportive learning environments, and identifying and developing highly transferable skills for the modern workforce. This second excursion will feature 8 different presentations, break out sessions and panelists who share the desriable transferable skills they look for when hiring for the workforce.
