In addition to gathering info from students through in-class discussions, informal chats, and class surveys, the CTLE now offers you another method to gather anonymous feedback about students’ learning experiences: Midterm Student Feedback (MSF).
MSF involves someone from the CTLE visiting your class and using small group discussions to gather valuable input from students. MSF can be beneficial when teaching the course for the first time, implementing new teaching methods, or looking for ideas to enhance your course. Midterm Student Feedback is a great way to hear from students about what works in your course and gather additional ideas. We typically run MSF sessions 5-6 weeks into the semester and have limited availability.
Fill out this form if you are interested in having the CTLE conduct the MSF process for one of your courses. Please contact Meghan Kennedy (meghan.kennedy@gccaz.edu) if you have questions or would like to learn more.
