Canvas has an app that is specifically for instructors. While you do not have the same Canvas functionality as when logged into a computer, there are some great features that you might find useful.
- You can grade and leave general comments on assignments, quizzes and discussions in the Speedgrader, even when there is a rubric!
- The Attendance tool is fully functional, so you can take attendance.
- You don’t have to wait until you get to a computer to create an announcement…you can do it from the app! The Announcements feature is 100% functional and even allows you to attach files.
To download the app, go to your App Store (iPhone) or to your Play Store (Android) and search for Canvas Teacher. Remember when you are prompted to enter your institution, enter Maricopa Community Colleges. After you enter your MEID and password, you are ready to go!
