The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) has increased accessibility in a wide range of areas. One of those areas is education. At GCC, and the district as a whole, we are to make sure that all videos that we provide to our students have proper captions with them. This means that any video we link to or embed or show or use for the class should have accurate captions with them.
There are several ways to get captions onto your videos. Which one you use depends on what works best for your situation. As always, the CTLE is available to help when you need it and we can walk you through any of the options you see below!
Using YouTube’s Captioning Options
