Welcome to the CTLE’s New Instructional Designer Technologist

Rodney Gemoll

We’re excited to welcome Rodney Gemoll to the CTLE! Rodney is joining the team this week as an Instructional Designer Technologist and brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education. He has experience in student services management, facilitating online and in-person courses as an adjunct faculty member, and for the past 15 years has focused on instructional design and educational technology while working for Arizona State University.

Rodney holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Northern Iowa and DeVry Institute of Technology, along with master’s degrees from the University of Phoenix and the University of Arizona. A lifelong learner and collaborative thought partner, Rodney enjoys working alongside colleagues to design engaging, student-first learning experiences that support both in-person and online environments.

Outside of work, Rodney enjoys spending time with family, going to the gym, hiking, bike riding, and practicing yoga. On the weekends, he volunteers at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
