Whether you’re an expert in science, arts, or technology, come inspire others with your amazing ideas and skills! Submit this short Call for Proposals (CfP) CTLE Presenter form to be part of The CTLE Cruise Line Conference in Fall 2024. When you think about taking a cruise, how might that experience relate to teaching and learning?
We envision presentations might be on any of the following ideas and more:
- Unique ways of building community,
- Ways to make courses more accessible and inclusive,
- Cool new technology tools that instructors or students can use,
- Ways to engage students (and ourselves),
- High-impact teaching practices,
- Your own research you’ve conducted,
- Topics you’ve learned about at conferences and can bring back to us,

- Presenting with CTLE is a beneficial experience on many levels. It helps to organize my thoughts on the topic I’m presenting and I have ALWAYS walked away with new ideas, knowledge, and/or inspiration from the colleagues I present with. I highly recommend this opportunity to all faculty.

Moreover, presenting with the CTLE has provided invaluable insights into approaches that help me connect better with my students, enriching my teaching journey. These insights seamlessly integrate into my IDP, making the reflection process as a probationary faculty member more rewarding.

It has been such a wonderful surprise to have my mentor come to me and say “Hey that thing you do with XYZ is cool and unique. Will you share it?” And I love getting to share my passion for instruction with fellow educators.
