Path to the Future

On September 28th and 29th more than 100 faculty from GCC came together to participate in a professional development opportunity which focused on  creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences in the 21st Century.

Day one of the conference hosted key note speaker Dr. Eric Haas who emphasized creating student experiences that students will remember 20 years from now.  Also several of the GCC librarian’s presented a robust tour of the Reimagine Makerspace which allowed participants hands-on opportunities to create items in that magical space.

Day two presenters highlighted quick and easy implementations to inspire and engage students, and experiential learning on the GCC campus.  The day ended with a panel of GCC instructors who have embraced AI in the classroom and they shared their experiences of of incorporating the new AI technologies.
