Can you believe it, Gauchos? Our beloved Write 6×6 Blog Challenge is turning 10! That’s ten years of big ideas, ten years of teaching tales, ten years of wit and whimsy, and ten years of priceless connection between faculty, staff, and administration here at GCC. (Silos? Never heard of ‘em!)
Before I get too sentimental, let me get to the task at hand. You are invited to celebrate this milestone with us by signing up for the Write 6×6 Blog Challenge 2026! We’ll hit the road on Monday, February 3, 2026, and we will conclude our journey of ideas just before spring break on March 15, 2026.
Are you a Write 6×6 veteran whose bag is packed and ready to go? You can proceed directly to the route and sign up here!

What is Write 6×6?
At the start of every spring semester, we here in the CTLE invite faculty, staff, and administrators to share their thoughts on teaching, learning, and/or student success for six weeks on the Write 6×6 blog. In addition to writing traditional blog posts, participants can choose to take “the scenic route” by responding to the prompts with original videos, infographics, and even podcasts. Traditionally, those who sign up to take on the Write 6×6 Challenge strive to write one post a week for six weeks, but we also know that life gets busy. You can choose to respond to the prompts as a part of a team, or you can commit to write just two or four prompts.
Truth or Dare:
It wouldn’t be a birthday party without a fun game! This year’s prompts offer you a choice each week: Truth–share your thoughts about the week’s prompt about teaching, learning, and/or student success. Or Dare–try something out in your classroom or in your work at GCC and then blog about the results! If these posts don’t get your creative gears turning, you are always welcome to explore any topic related to higher education. (Here’s a sneak peek of this year’s prompts. Scroll down to find creative alternative options.)
Your Reward:
Every week that you share a blog post, a video, a podcast, or an infographic, I will personally deliver an awesome treat to your workspace! (If you do not have an office on campus, or if we miss you, you can stop by the CTLE to pick up your tasty rewards.)
I hope you’ll help us make year 10 the best one yet! To accept the challenge, fill out this form.
If you need help setting up your blog, reach out to Lisa Moore or the stone cold blog pros in the CTLE. We are happy to help get you rolling!
