Student self-assessment: perception of grading, learning & replicating peer writing moves

With mid-semester right around the corner, it’s a great time to use this student self-assessment and/or peer assessment strategy to improve meta-cognition and engage students in evaluating their own learning. Reflecting and evaluating their own and each others’ work helps students internalize their learning. This video is from an English instructor, but suggestions can be used in any field or subject.
