My 8th grader came home last year with a paper that asked all parents to text a certain word to seemingly random text number.  I did so and was shocked to find that every single weekday at 6:00 I would get a group text that gave the answers to my son’s homework.  The intention was for me to work with him to make sure he understood what he was to do.  I was able to text the teacher and she could text back and I never knew her real text number.  This incredible learning experience was provided by a program called “Remind.com.”
