The CTLE is hosting TED Talk Tuesday’s throughout the Spring semester. TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design – www.ted.com) Talk Tuesday’s are opportunities for GCC faculty and staff to come together and watch short talks from interesting, intelligent, and innovative people. Spend a few minutes and learn something, feel inspired, or explore a new idea. After watching we will discuss the talk and the ideas from the talk.
Our first TED Talk Tuesday was on Tuesday, January 29 from 3:00pm – 4:00pm where we watched Sir Ken Robinson’s talk, “Schools Kill Creativity” discussing how we need any education system that nurtures, not stifles, creativity.
Join us on the last Tuesday of the month from 3:00pm – 4:00pm for more TED Talks. Mark these dates in your calendar:
- Tuesday, February 26, 3:00pm – 4:00pm
- Tuesday, March 26, 3:00pm – 4:00pm
- Tuesday, April 30, 3:00pm – 4:00pm
