The Center for Teaching, Learning & Engagement has created a Professional Learning Community (PLC) focused on developing, finding, and sharing ideas, topics, and resources that will help faculty and staff better meet the needs of our developmental education students.
Our goals, as a community, are to:
- Discuss current issues and critical areas in developmental education
- Identify and evaluate resources and research on developmental education and associated learning theories
- Develop and share ideas, activities, lessons, or other interventions
- Gather data based on instructional interventions
- Evaluate effectiveness of ideas, activities, lessons, or other interventions based on data and reflection
- Refine best practices for instruction in developmental education
- Share experiences, ideas, and reflections with community members
